Beach School
An amazing environment
Beaches are an ever changing environment to explore and wonderful and inspirational places for children to learn and have fun, create and be curious about the world around them.
Beach Schools provide an opportunity for holistic development for young children, giving them good foundations for the rest of their life.

Not just a day at the 'seaside'
The beach can be a classroom in the same way a woodland can be, and Beach School follows the same ethos as Forest School, using the coast as a platform for a whole new learning experience that provides children with the opportunity to explore their natural surroundings in an organised setting.

A place of Imagination
At Beach School, children get an amazing opportunity to connect with the natural environment of the beach; pebbles, sand, water, oozing mud as well as all of the habitats for wild animals.
They can be a pirate one minute, go on a treasure hunt, build sand castle and sculptures, become a mermaid, explore rock-pools and cave’s.

Beach School Practitioners
Some of our staff have undertaken a specialist Beach School Training course where they learnt about risk assessments, beach games, safety, learning resources and lots of other exciting things that we use when we take our Little Cherubs to the Beach.

Our nursery is just a short drive from Douglas town centre, which makes drop offs much easier, avoiding the main hustle and bustle of town. We provide professional care for children from 2 to 5 years.
