Discoveries in the woods
Something very exciting and wonderful happened today when our Forest trekkers went exploring.
Ever so slightly hidden under a mound of mud (which miss Rianne was digging away) we spotted something old and rusty-We dug it out of the ground. We came up with some rules (getting the children to risk assess-after Rianne and Louise had examined the items to make sure they are safe). The rules were ‘you can’t touch with your hands but you can touch with a stick’ so the children dug the mud off the items and they had a chat about where they had come from-they deiceded its the steering wheel off a pirate ship

Our nurseries are only minutes apart from each other and just a short drive from Douglas town centre, which makes drop offs much easier, avoiding the main hustle and bustle of town. We provide professional care for children from 9 months to 5 years.
