About us

The Nursery

We care for up to seven babies in our Baby Unit which is based at our Union Mills Nursery.

We offer a balance of indoor and outdoor play and learning settings and support learning through the Birth to 3 Matters curriculum.

Our qualified staff work with their key children and building relationships with you the parents and working with you to ensure your children have a safe, secure and stimulating nursery experience.

Toddlers at Little Cherubs Nature Kindergarten (Union Mills) aged 2-3 years are part of the nursery. In this transition year they share accommodation with the Preschool children in the Kindergarten and take part in some of the Kindergarten activities.

Toddlers at Little Cherubs Nature Nursery (Strang) aged 2-3 years have their own playroom, which has access to a shared garden with the Preschool children.

We are nature nurseries based on Forest School ethos with a particular emphasis on creativity, play and learning through nature.

We follow a holistic approach to childcare and believe education should be fun. We focus equally on indoor and outdoor learning as we believe that this enhances the children’s personal and social emotional development, communication skills as well as their physical development.

Our qualified staff work towards planning and managing the learning outcomes of their key children using the EYFS curriculum and building relationships with you the parents and working with you to ensure your children have a safe, secure and stimulating pre-school experience.

Our Nature Nurseries
