Exploring the woods

Today’s wonderful wild adventures 💚🌲🌱🌿🌳

Today we ventured a bit further out and investigated the stream, where the children initiated fishing activities with sticks and pots.

We also took a closer look at the old wheels and Brooklyn decided it must be part of a monster truck. As the wheels are now rusty we feel it is important for the children still to be able to investigate without touching so we created the rule ‘touch with a stick and not with your hands’ letting the children risk assess is hugely important in their development.
