Learning with mud
This week our explorers have been creating mud faces. They gathered mud to stick to the trees and found bits and pieces of natural materials to add facial features to their mud. They had such a great time getting muddy and using their imagination for their creations. 🙂
Such a lot was gained from this type of play- creativity, imagination, story telling, identifying plants, taking measurements of the mud, communication skills and plenty more.
Next trip they want to take paint brushes for the trees-we are so excited!
